Surgeons in Hampton Roads now have access to the latest advancements in minimally invasive surgery with the addition of a state-of-the-art robotic surgical system for the minimally invasive surgery program at DePaul Medical Center.
For our patients, minimally invasive robotic surgery techniques can mean less pain, discomfort, blood loss, and a quicker return to normal activities. New advancements also mean that patients and physicians have a variety of alternatives to convention, open surgery — including the robotic-assisted daVinci Surgical System.

Gynecology and Gynecology Oncology
More complex surgeries such as endometrial cancer staging and radical hysterectomy may soon be done using the robot.
