A Streamlined Assessment Process that includes early detection, diagnosis and treatment are the best ways to increase a patient's chances of survival. Our program is designed to meet a patient’s immediate and long-term needs while working to expedite as much of the process as possible. We offer next day availability for a diagnostic mammogram and will deliver the results before the patients leave the imaging center.
If a biopsy is recommended, our trained staff will meet with the patient, explain the results and any indications of the mammogram and provide information on biopsy options. Our Certified Breast Nurse Navigator will work with your care team to schedule a breast biopsy consult.
When a diagnosis is made, our Nurse Navigator will act as a patient educator, advocate, care coordinator, and as a community ambassador on a mission to improve the experience for each patient. .

Our breast program features a multi-disciplinary team of cancer specialists who work together to determine the most efficient and effective treatment for breast cancer patients. Our multi-disciplinary team is patient-centered and consists of:

- Medical oncologists
- Radiation oncologists
- Radiologists
- Certified Breast Nurse Navigators
- Other breast specialists
Our team is supported by the full resources of Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center and Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View.

- State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services including digital mammography
- A Certified Breast Nurse Navigator available to guide you and your family
- Genetic screening and testing
- Minimally invasive stereotactic and needle localization biopsy services
- Surgical breast services including sentinel lymph node biopsies and breast reconstruction
- Infusion therapy treatments, including sophisticated chemotherapies and other cancer treatment medications
- Radiation therapy services, including our state-of-the-art linear accelerator that targets cancer with pinpoint accuracy while minimizing damage to surrounding tissue
