"She was getting the run around"
My mom was visiting from Arizona and was scheduled to leave soon. On July 16th she had a Urinary Tract infection – I contacted my PCP to make an appt. A two week appointment was the first availability. I took her to an Urgent Care but was told that she could not be seen because she has Medicare and a supplement. She was getting the run around. Although I hate using the ED for non-emergent reasons, I had to do something because traveling with a UTI is not comfortable. I remembered your 30 minute advertisements and decided to bring her to DePaul.
The Registrar wearing a white blouse and pearls looked and behaved so professionally. Mom was not finished filing out her papers when Triage called. Within 5 minutes of leaving Triage, mom was called to the back. Carrie Dudek, PA was wonderful. PA ordered Cipro for mom. 1.5 hours later we walked out of your ED with medication in her body. Everyone who mom and I dealt with was wonderful
Whoever trains your staff has done a perfect job. Please keep up the good work and your promise, and I’ll keep coming back. Mom and I want to thank everyone for caring so much.
Thank you,
Pat and Dorothy
